Music Producer・ Lyricist・ Composer・ Arranger・ Voice Trainer

 

Minnie P. works with Universal Music Publishing Group. She is a music producer, lyricist, composer, arranger, and voice trainer. She works as the Company President of Wings Music and creates music labels, produces music, and teaches at her music school.
 
Minnie P. started playing the piano when she was 4 years old, then received formal piano training, as well as song writing and other educations, from age 6 in Yamaha’s juniors’ course. She graduated two years in a row as a scholarship piano student from Hiroshima high school of music. Then she majored in piano studies at Kunitachi Music University and began working in the music industry while she was a student. After graduating, she studied jazz under Charlie Banacos in the United States.
 
In 1997, Minnie P. debuted as a lyricist, composer, and arranger in Japan and Brazil. She has worked with and composed for artists in R&B, POP, and K-POP genres like Chris Hart, RIRI, AISHA, Aoi Teshima, and Kiyoshi Hikawa and has taken on the role of vocal coach for many artists. Her work has been ranked at the top of Oricon, iTunes, Usen, and other music charts. 
 In 1995, she opened Wings Music School in Daikanyama of Tokyo, Japan. There she teaches as a voice trainer and has continued to achieve success with her own style of training. Her anti-aging voice training has gained popularity and since then, there are new articles written about it in major magazines, every month. She has also written and published a bestselling book about her voice training method,   Koe wo Migakeba Jinsei ga Kawaru  through Shueisha International Inc.
 
Minnie P. has appeared in voice training videos with famous Japanese YouTubers such as Hikaru and Kaitou Pinky which have more than 1.5 million views.

 

Minnie P. also appeared as a guest trainer in “Hajimete no Takeshi” on BS Sky Perfect TV! on April 25th, 2019. She taught Beat Takeshi (Takeshi Kitano), Tomoaki Honma, who is a pro-wrestler suffering from having no Adam’s apple after a lariat accident and feeling like he couldn’t project his voice, and Sumiko Nishioka, who had issues with singing on pitch. Minnie P. has appeared in other TV shows, radio shows, and lectures as well.  
In March of 2019, Minnie P. became a hot topic after changing Genichiro Tenryu and Tsubaki Oniyakko’s husky voices into more beautiful voices on TV Asahi Corporation’s popular show, “Tamori Club.”
